<p>Americans spend $10 billion per year purchasing vitamins and other nutritional supplements. While doctors are often reluctant to discuss vitamins and supplements, studies show that doctors take even more supplements than their patients! </p>
<p>The practice guidelines we follow as physicians tend to discourage us from recommending supplements to our patients. The dilemma is that most supplement products have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA. That means we don’t officially know what those products contain or how they were produced. And there are multiple examples of fraud in the supplement industry. For example, products have been found to contain only sawdust – and these were being sold by reputable suppliers. So it’s all “buyer beware”, with both physicians and patients struggling to decide which products are worthwhile. Many Physicians have found what works for them, But they are reluctant to suggest these to their patients.</p>
<p>I have always taken an extensive supplement regimen. I am now taking a personalized supplement regimen from PERSONA. This is the program I am now recommending when asked for supplement recommendations. As a physician, there are SIX things that I really like about PERSONA. </p>

आजकल चर्चा चल रही है मल्टीविटामिन की, जैसे बिकोसूल है, बिकाडेक्सामिन है, ए टू ज़ेड कैप्सूल है &#8211; ये सब<br />
विटामिन सप्लीमेंट्स हैं।<br />
कई बार हमें गलतफहमी होती है कि मल्टीविटामिन या सप्लीमेंट लेने से हमारी सेहत सुधर जाएगी, हमारी रोग<br />
प्रतिरोधक क्षमता यानि इम्यूनिटी बढ़ जाएगी, हम बीमारियों से दूर रहेंगे। ये सारी गलतफहमियाँ हैं, विटामिन का<br />
स्तर जितना होना चाहिए वो हमें खाने से मिल जाता है और उसके अलावा यदि हम अतिरिक्त सप्लीमेंट लेंगे तो इसे<br />
शरीर वॉश आउट यानि बाहर निकाल देता है और आपके शरीर के लिए इसका कोई फायदा नहीं होता।<br />
विटामिन के बारे में यदि हम जानकारी लें तो विटामिन कई तरह के होते हैं &#8211; विटामिन ए, विटामिन बी में भी काफी<br />
विटामिन हैं बी1, बी6, बी12, फॉलिक एसिड, विटामिन सी, विटामिन ई, विटामिन के, विटामिन डी है। इन तरह<br />
तरह के विटामिनों की हमारे शरीर के भीतर अपनी एक भूमिका होती है। प्रत्येक विटामिन का शरीर के ऊपर अपना<br />
एक बहुत ज़रुरी काम होता है और शरीर को कुछ अपने कार्य करने में वे मदद करते हैं। यदि हम सेहतमंद खाना खाएं,<br />
पोषणयुक्त भोजन करें, मिश्रित आहार लें, यानि फल, सब्जियां, दूध, अँडा, यदि नॉनवेज खाते हैं तो चिकन और<br />
मछली खाएँ, तो हमें इसके अलावा अतिरिक्त विटामिन लेने की ज़रुरत नहीं है।<br />
अगर हम बात करें कुछ कमियों की, तो कुछ लोगों में विटामिन की कमी होती है। या तो उनका आहार ठीक नहीं है<br />
या उनको कुछ बीमारियाँ है जिसकी वजह से वे विटामिनों को को योग्य तरीके से अवशोषित नहीं कर पाते। ऐसे<br />
लोगों को विटामिन सप्लीमेंट लेने की ज़रुरत है। किन लोगों को ज़रुरत है इसका पता लगाने के लिए एक आसान खून<br />
की जाँच करानी पड़ती है। इस खून की जाँच से पता चल जाएगा आपके विटामिन का स्तर क्या है। यदि स्तर कम है<br />
तो हम आपको सप्लीमेंट दे सकते हैं और उसमें आपको फायदा होता है।</p>

From New England to Southern California, chances are if you ever needed a potassium boost there was a GNC at a mall nearby. But the company that urged Americans to &#8220;Live Well&#8221; has fallen on tough times. In June 2020 GNC filed for bankruptcy with plans to close about 1,000 locations — more than 10 percent of its global footprint.</p>
