If you want to stop smoking, over-eating or even over-thinking, running from your addiction will only serve to exacerbate the problem.
In my own experience, it’s never been the toxic thing or activity that I’ve been addicted to, but rather the emotions that thing allowed me to feel. If you take smoking for an example, any conscious person knows that cigarettes are a disgusting habit. But even intelligent, spiritually minded people choose to smoke. Why?
