Yellow peppers are very similar to red and green peppers. Yellow and red peppers are the same as green peppers except for they are just harvested later on in the process. Green peppers cost less because they can be picked sooner, whereas red and yellow peppers need to be on the tree longer in order to be picked. Yellow peppers are rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, calcium as well as other antioxidants, phytonutrients and compounds. It’s yellow so you can imagine that it’s good for the brain, like turmeric or camu camu, great for brain chemistry and brain happy hormones. It’s rich in fiber which is great for the intestines, and intestinal walls. Peppers induce thermogenesis in the body which keeps the body heated up and boosts metabolism as well, so it’s a great winter food to keep your body warm.
