A: For Richie, it did not. If you have super sensitive teeth, while using this whitening system use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth such as sensodyne to prevent any sensitivity (this is what I do) There is also a desensitizing gel available on the website. If you experience tooth sensitivity it is recommended you also add the desensitizing gel on to your order. Tooth desensitizing gel is a pre-whitening application that eliminates tooth sensitivity by temporarily sealing access to the tubules on the surface of the tooth. If needed, for each whitening gel syringe you order you should have 1 desensitizing gel syringe. We did not use these, however some may find it useful!

A: For the first week of treatment, He applied the whitening gel 7 days in a row overnight (an average of 4 to 6 hours each night) Now he uses the whitening gel only one night a month for a few hours to maintain the results.
