SERVES 2 | 5 MINUTES ‘COOKING’

1/2 banana – high in potassium and generally great in smoothies as a thickener.

4 strawberries – really high in vitamin C!

3 pineapple rings – pineapples have a naturally high water concentration that will help to flush excess fluids from your system. They also contain enzymes that help you better digest protein.

handful spinach – high in fibre to combat bloating, promote clearer skin and improve your immune system. It’s not a Super Food without good reason.

1cm grated ginger – medicinal food for anti-nausea and bloating, and adds a lovely zing to your smoothie

coconut milk – it’s a natural diuretic, rich in potassium and electrolytes.
