Today we’re making a drink that will serve you well in the hot summer sun—a refreshing (and healthy) kale smoothie. Here’s the recipe:
2 cups chopped kale, stems removed
1/2 cup chopped mango
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1 cup of orange juice
1 tbsp flaxseed
1/4 cup almond milk
1. Cut and measure all fruit.
2. Wash kale very well.
3. De-stem and cut kale.
1. In the blender, add flaxseed first, then kale. Add fruits and drizzle juice and milk over the top.
2. Blend until smooth. If it seems too thick, add water.
