In this video, I show you how to make a healthy green smoothie, designed at enhancing your body’s natural detoxification pathways and to also help you on your weight loss journey. Enjoy as a healthy breakfast or as a snack when you need some more energy.
Beware, this is not a beginners green smoothie! So follow my guidelines in the video if you need to alter the taste. I suggest adding in some mango instead of the grapefruit, along with some honey to naturally sweeten the smoothie.
***Please note, some medications do interact with Grapefruit, so check with your doctor or medical professional first!***
– 1 banana
– 1 grapefruit
– Juice of 1/2 a lemon
– 1 cup spinach
– 1 bunch of parsley
– 1 Tbsp chia seeds
– 250ml of coconut water
Optional: Add ice or use a frozen banana – It tastes much nicer cold!
Blend all ingredients and enjoy straight away. Serves 1.
