Turmeric absorption is a bigger issue than most people realize. In this video, I’ll talk about scientifically proven ways to boost turmeric absorption.
Turmeric is really popular right now and if you spend any time on Pinterest, you’ll see many, many recipes! But many of the recipes don’t actually help you absorb the turmeric, so you’re missing out on the health benefits. There is no point taking turmeric and not absorbing any of it.
Curcumin in turmeric is responsible for the health benefits of turmeric, but it’s actually very difficult for the body to absorb since the liver clears it rather quickly. To increase turmeric absorption, you can add black pepper and fat to your turmeric drinks/dishes. Both black pepper and fat can optimize absorption significantly.
