Combat stress reaction (CSR), in the past commonly known as shell shock or battle fatigue, is a range of behaviours resulting from the stress of battle which decrease the combatant’s fighting efficiency.

Very disheartening and distressful video. Some of the exhibited shaking was chemical induced…so in modern times, these may not be as pervasive but nonetheless are existent. Soldiers with PTSD were known to be a menace to society…and sometimes executed (‘for their own good’) – FACT. It’s more commonplace (or expected) nowadays for soldiers to attend and serve multiple terms and campaigns of war — e.g, Iraq and Afghanistan. There must be some latent mental conditions, but maybe in their infancy or ….

Makes you wonder, ‘why do countries or the respective leaders, in modern times are eager to mobilize for war when the country is in a recession.’
