If you want to quit smoking cigarettes and overcome your nicotine addiction FOREVER, then you MUST set a “quit date”.
This is very important because studies have shown that just by writing down your goals (as opposed to just thinking or talking about it), you will be MUCH more inclined to achieve your goal when it is written down.
So you want to set a “quit date”. That is the date you want to quit smoking tobacco by. Set a realistic date. Once you set it, write it down on a piece of paper and paste it in your room.
This quit date will constantly remind you that you are on a race to achieve your goal by a certain date. Your behavior and attitude will change to smoking.
Instead of just lighting up a cigarette, you would think TWICE about it the next time you have that craving to smoke.
When I was smoking all the time, I actually wrote it down on a piece of paper that I wanted to quit smoking. Just by writing down one time, the goal became MORE real.
It no longer was a wish nor was it a dream but it was a REALITY to overcome my addiction.
And guess what, I was able to quit smoking once & for all!
So stop buying Marlboro reds or lights or Camel filters or non filters or whatever! Stop buying cigarettes & set a quit date & write it down on a piece of paper!
