Male Fertility Testing and Analysis

Male Fertility Testing and Analysis
Semen Analysis (Sperm Count)
While most people think that infertility is simply an issue that women have, it occurs in more men than you would realize. Generally, in around 50% of the couples that have conception issues, the male partner has fertility problems. If a woman is having a hard time getting pregnant, it is a good idea not only to get tested but for her partner to get tested as well.

When Is a Test Necessary?

If the woman in a couple does not get pregnant after a year of attempts, both partners should get fertility tests. Men who suffer from conditions which can affect their fertility should also get tested. Men who have undergone vasectomy and those who have undergone a reversal of the procedure will have to do it too.
