Seaweed Salad

Seaweed is one of the most nutrient-rich foods on the planet. It is king in the mineral world and contains a substance called Algin which binds heavy metals and carries them out of the body- even if the seaweed itself is somewhat radioactive! That’s why so many people survived the Hiroshima nuclear blast and are still alive 50 years later. Seaweed is simply amazing for it’s health properties. Cara’s Seaweed Salad Recipe
Fill one serving size bowl with the following:
1 cup of your favorite seaweed
1/2 cucumber, sliced and quartered
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup diced red and/or orange bell pepper
1/2 green onion, thinly sliced
1/2 avocado, cubed
a few mint leaves, torn (optional)

1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 Tablespoon fresh orange juice
1 1/4 teaspoon Tamari
2 teaspoon toasted Sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar (optional)
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon finely minced ginger
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon finely minced hot pepper (optional)

Whisk sauce ingredients together and pour over salad.
Gently fold the sauce into salad and serve.
