Daycare provider rules that keep sick kids at home for things like pink eye or a fever can make parents lives more difficult, and usually for no good reason. Many providers won’t let kids back in without proof that they’re taking antibiotics, even for mild illnesses that wouldn’t benefit from such a treatment.
