Solaray Pygeum & Saw Palmetto and Trader Joe’s Calcium: Information Based Review

In this video I offer a review of Solaray’s Pygeum & Saw Palmetto supplement and Trader Joe’s Calcium, Magnesium + Vitamin D supplement. I take one of each daily at night.
“The American Hair Loss Association, the only national, non profit 501(c)3 charity devoted to hair loss, states that when DHT is suppressed, hair follicles will continue to produce healthy hair. In the book ‘Nutrition for Healthy Skin: Strategies for Clinical and Cosmetic Practice,’ Jean Krutmann, professor of dermatology and environmental medicine at the Heinrich-Heine-Univeristy in Dusseldorf, Germany, states that pygeum is believed to inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, which will limit the production of DHT. This give some credence to the idea that pygeum may help with hair loss.” -www.livestrong.com/article/546657-pygeum-and-hair-loss/

[*NOTE: In this video, I do not have before and after visuals of hair growth. I solely share my background information and my review of the vitamins. I ask that my reviewers respect the fact that I am uneasy about attaching “hair growth” solely to a certain vitamin supplement and thereby influencing viewers to purchase it without making an informed holistic decision.]
