Here is a great leg workout that will help you to build more muscle. This workout can be done 1-2 times a week and is great for all ages. Here is the full workout for you to try
Wednesday’s Workout LEGS!!!!
1) Smith Machine Calf Raises 5 sets x 20-25 reps (Go as heavy as you possibly can. Rest 2 minutes after every set and stretch your calves for 10 seconds after every set)
2) Leg Extensions 5 sets x 10-15 reps (Go as heavy as you can and work up to a heavy 10 rep max and if you can’t get all of your reps, rest for a few seconds and then get back in there and finish your set. Rest 2 minutes after every set)
3) Lying Leg Curls 5 sets x 10-15 reps & 5th set is a double drop set x failure!!!! (Go as heavy as you can and work up to a heavy 10 rep max set and then do a drop set for another 10 reps. Rest 2 minutes)
4) Barbell Squats 5 sets x 5 reps and each rep is a 4-5 second negative. Your 5th set is a double drop set x failure!!! Rest 2-3 after every set. (I did 275lbs,300lbs,315lbs,315lbs,135lbs x 50 reps!!!!)
