Green Smoothie for TTC and Pregnancy! | What I have for lunch each day
Hey friends!
Figured I’d make this little video in case it offers ideas to anyone looking to make a simple, yummy, super healthy fertility- and pregnancy-friendly meal idea 🙂
As promised, here are the ingredients and the nutrition facts based off of the SparkPeople Nutrition Calculator website. Also, here is the information on Nutiva re: California Proposition 65 (which I referenced in my video): https://kitchen.nutiva.com/what-is-california-prop-65/
*RECIPE* (this makes 4 SEPARATE SMOOTHIES)
2 medium bananas
2 apples (I prefer Golden Delicious or Granny Smith, but you can use any!)
2 kiwi fruit **with the skin on**
1 large avocado
64 Seedless Green Grapes
The juice of 2 lemons
4 cups of frozen peas
8 giant handfuls of fresh spinach (approx. 250g)
Nutiva Hemp Protein Powder (unflavored / unsweetened – 2 full servings in total)
Approx. 4 handfuls of frozen cauliflower (I actually prefer to use frozen broccoli instead!)
