Can You Use Hydrogen Peroxide To Clear Up Bacne?
There are so many solutions available in the market today in order to treat bacne. Right from over the counter medications to ointments to creams, the market is flooded with these products. However people are now relying on home remedies like applying lemon juice or honey on the affected areas instead of spending a fortune on these over the counter medications.
Research has now suggested that hydrogen peroxide solution is a very effective way for treating bacne. There are no side effects (like those of antibiotics) involved with the treatment and it can probably be sold in the market without a prescription.
Hydrogen peroxide is also used for treating wounds and injuries because of its anti bacterial properties. It prevents infection from spreading. Hydrogen peroxide is not used as an individual component to treat bacne. It is mixed with other solutions and chemicals like benzene so that it does not decompose quickly.
Today hydrogen peroxide is combined with a polymer known as polyvinylpyrrolidone (known as PVP in short) which is used as a binding agent in tablets. This solid form of hydrogen peroxide is then combined with a cream or gel that in turn can be used to treat bacne. When this gel or cream is applied to the affected parts, it helps in killing the bacteria that are responsible for spreading bacne to other parts of the back and body.
There have been a lot of investigations by doctors before the products having hydrogen peroxide hit the markets. Tests have been carried on many patients over a period of several months and it was found that many of the bacne cases had healed completely. The scars and the pimples reduced in size and number. Also the patient’s skin became less oily than before and the formation of new pimples was reduced considerably. Hence there was a 75%-100% positive healing in the condition of the patient. There was also a decrease in skin irritation, redness, itching and swelling.
Hence we see that it will not be long before gels and cream having hydrogen peroxide will be launched in the market and people will begin to buy them to cure their bacne. Hydrogen peroxide is indeed proven to be effective in curing bacne.
Are you ready to get rid of your bacne and keep it from coming back once and for all?
