Several Years Having Green Smoothies Every Morning
Examples of different ingredients we use in green smoothies.
Fruits:
Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, oranges, lemon, lime, peaches, pears, grapes, pineapple, mango, apples, kiwi, watermelon, cantaloupe
Grains:
whole grain oatmeal, cream of wheat, quinoa (not a grain), barley,
chia seeds (not a grain), brown rice
Nuts:
almonds, English walnuts, black walnuts, pecans, cashew
Greens:
kale, arugula, spinach, mixed baby greens, broccoli and stalks, collards, mustard greens, romaine lettuce
Other:
cucumber, beets (fresh or canned), celery, sweet potatoes, carrots, coconut, peanut butter, cooked lentils, tomato
Sweeteners:
Medjool dates (purchased at Sam’s club in the produce depart.)
agave nectar, honey, maple syrup, sugar, brown sugar
