Health benefits of Turmeric Tea and How to make it. by World Cookbook Award winner Bridget Davis ⭐⭐⭐

Isn’t it amazing how the health of our family members can trigger us into action! So was the case with this Turmeric tea recipe. My father was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis, a condition that was causing him a great deal of pain and for a man who was exceptionally active, the pain began to slow him down.

Pain killlers weren’t helping, in fact the side effects from the pain killers were worst than the arthritis! So we set about finding him a diet that he could have that would help with his condition and this tea ticked all the boxes. A natural anti-inflammatory and natural pain killer, my Dad is LOVING this tea as its tastes like chai and he uses it as a replacement for coffee and black tea. With many many other health benefits, this tea is an absolute must have for your medicine cupboard.

3 heaped teaspoons turmeric
1 heaped teaspoon ground cloves
2 teaspoons ground cardamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger

1.5 Lts of 3.5 pints of filtered water
Honey to taste
nut milk optional
