Best Colors to Wear for Southeast Asian Skin Tone (Men’s Style & Fashion)
As a Southeast Asian man, I feel like I’m in a pretty good position to talk about what I think are some of the best colors to wear for Asian men.
Let me start off by saying that color choice, much like style, is a personal thing. Ultimately, you can wear whatever color you like, but there are some general guidelines worth following that will ensure that the colors you wear are more likely to flatter your skin tone rather than clash with it.
I also want to mention that the colors you choose to wear are more than a matter of complementing skin tone, it also sends a message. Colors have historical, psychological, and emotional meaning that is worth taking into consideration, which is beyond the scope of this video.
This video focuses on color coordination and how to put together well-balanced and thoughtful outfits for Asian men with medium/olive skin tones. Furthermore, I’ll mention a few colors in which you’ll want to proceed with caution, and how you can still wear them.
