Nioxin Shampoo, treatment to stop thinning hair and hair loss. My experience and opinion.

Im doing a different type of video today that’s not meant to sound like an infomercial. I’m doing this video as a favor to a friend who saw what shampoo I use. Turns out it’s the same shampoo that his hair surgery doctor suggested to him. There are a lot of products out there to address thinning hair, but this one has worked for me. He asked me to do a video to let people who are worried about hair loss and thinning hair, that there is a product out there that can help.

I had problems with my kidneys swelling up about 10 years ago that required me to take steroids and a mild dose of a drug that is used in chemotherapy. That drug caused hair loss. At the time I was just as worried about the hair loss as I was about fixing the kidneys. I heard that this shampoo system would help limit the hair loss from my doctor. I’ve been using it ever since.

It is not marketed to regrow hair. It does however help stop thinning hair and hair loss.

“Although Nioxin shampoos do not promote themselves as hair loss products, it is possible they can help in the regrowth of hair by removing sebum from the scalp when used. Sebum contains testosterone and dihydrotestosterone, often called DHT. DHT is believed to be the leading cause of male pattern hair loss.”
